Cathedral Greeters

Motivated by the good experience with pilgrims during the 2012 Holy Robe Pilgrimage, volunteer helpers will continue their service of greeting visitors from the world over in the Cathedral entry area.

They meet people there who need information, assistance, or tips on appropriate behavior. They point out additional offers such as the regular Cathedral tours or visiting the Cathedral Treasury.

Sometimes, however, it is “only” a description of how to get to the next restroom or to the train station. But it’s an enriching task to show their presence in “their” Trier Cathedral and to offer the various visitors a cordial reception.

Assignments are given by the Cathedral Information.
